Inés Olza is Senior Research Fellow in General Linguistics at the University of Navarra (Spain), where she is co-Principal Investigator of the Bonds, Creativity and Culture research group and directs the Multimodal Pragmatics Lab. She has authored several dozens publications on Pragmatics, Cognitive Linguistics, Corpus Linguistics, Discourse Analysis and Multimodality: e.g. articles published in Journal of Pragmatics, PLOS ONE, Metaphor and Symbol, Review of Cognitive Linguistics or Languages in Contrast, among others; monograph Language and Embodied Experience (Peter Lang, 2011). Her research has focused so far on Spanish, English, German and French. She has been Principal Investigator of 5 project grants. The current one as PI, “From negation to disagreement–MultiNeg”. Since 2013, she is a leading member of the Spanish chapter of the Red Hen Lab for the Study of Multimodal Communication.
